a personal note from Manorama:

On this last trip to India, I went to a Gurukul on the outskirts of New Delhi. The children there were warm and highly disciplined. They’re studying the Vedas there for 12 years.

When I sat with the perfecter for tea, I asked if there was anything he needed, he replied, “Anything you can do to help the children.”

I sat with it and this is the first event I want to offer in their honor to help raise funds for the children’s clothing, books and food.
